How Online Casino Gaming Works

Ten steps from opening an account to requesting a withdrawal — what each one involves, what is checked and which tools you can use along the way.

X Step by step

From registration to withdrawal

Read it in order or jump to the step you need. Each step links to the page where you can actually do it.

  1. I

Step 1 — Create an Account

Registration asks for your first and last name, email address, date of birth and province, plus a password of at least 8 characters with a letter and a number. You also confirm that you accept the Terms and Conditions and choose whether you want marketing messages; that choice can be changed later.

Use your real details. The name and date of birth on the account have to match your identity documents later, and a mismatch is one of the most common reasons a withdrawal is delayed.

  2. II

Step 2 — Verify Your Identity (KYC)

“Know your customer” (KYC) checks confirm that you are who you say you are and that you are old enough to play. They are required by anti-money-laundering rules and protect your account from being used by someone else.

The operator usually asks for a government photo ID, a recent proof of address and, for some payment methods, proof that the card or account is yours. Verification is completed before the first withdrawal, and further checks may be requested at any time. Never send documents by unencrypted email unless support asks you to.

  3. III

    Step 3 — Confirm Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or the higher age set by your province or territory. The date of birth you enter is checked at registration, and the identity check in Step 2 confirms it.

Where you live matters too. Registration is not offered to residents of Alberta and Ontario, which the reference operator lists as excluded territories. In other provinces, games open only where online gaming is permitted for this operator under local law. Using a VPN or a false address to get around these rules breaks the terms and can lead to the account being closed.

  4. IV

    Step 4 — Choose a Payment Method

Accounts are held in Canadian dollars (CAD). The methods listed are Visa, Mastercard, Interac, iDebit, Paysafecard and Bank transfer for deposits, and Visa, Mastercard, Interac, iDebit and Bank transfer for withdrawals (Paysafecard can be used for deposits only). Availability depends on your province and the payment provider.

Minimum and maximum amounts in CAD are shown in the cashier once your account is verified, because they depend on your province, the payment provider and the operator’s rules. We do not quote processing times or fees here, because they are set by the operator and the provider and can change.

  5. V

Step 5 — Explore Casino Games

The catalogue holds 125 games: 59 slots, 24 jackpot games, 27 live tables and 15 RNG table games. You can search by name or studio and filter by category, such as classic or video slots, live roulette or poker.

Open any game to see its studio and category. Return to player, volatility and the full rules are shown inside the game itself, and it is worth reading them before you stake anything.

  6. VI

Step 6 — Discover Progressive Jackpots

A progressive jackpot works in three stages. Contribution: a small share of each qualifying stake goes into the jackpot. Pool: those shares build up on one game or across a network of linked games, so the prize grows over time. Trigger: a bonus round, collected symbols or a random draw awards the jackpot, and the pool resets to its seed value and starts again.

Many games have several tiers — often named something like Mini, Minor, Major and Grand — with the smaller tiers landing more often and the top tier very rarely. Names, tiers and qualifying stakes differ between games, so check the rules. Current values are shown only inside the game, and no jackpot is guaranteed.

  7. VII

Step 7 — Explore Live Casino

Live casino games are streamed from studios run by Evolution and Pragmatic Play, with real dealers spinning roulette wheels and dealing blackjack and baccarat, plus game shows. You bet through the on-screen panel during a short betting window, and the result comes from the physical table.

Each table shows its own stake limits and rules in the lobby. Rounds follow each other quickly, so keep an eye on the time — a reality-check reminder (Step 8) helps.

  8. VIII

Step 8 — Set Personal Limits

Set your limits before you play, while it is easy to think clearly. In your account you can set:

    • Deposit, loss and session limits — daily, weekly or monthly. Lowering a limit applies at once; raising it waits 7 days.
    • Cooling-off — a break of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
    • Self-exclusion — 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. A break cannot be ended early.
    • Reality check — a reminder every 15, 30 or 60 minutes showing how long you have been playing.
  9. IX

Step 9 — Manage Your Account

Your account page shows your profile, loyalty level, current limits and any pending limit changes. From there you can update preferences, opt out of marketing messages, set reality checks or take a break.

If you forget your password, the login page sends a reset link by email; it works once and expires. Keep your email address current, because it is how support and password resets reach you.

  10. X

    Step 10 — Request a Withdrawal

Before the first withdrawal, the identity checks from Step 2 must be complete. A withdrawal is then requested from the cashier, where you can see the methods available to you and any limits in CAD.

As a general practice, money is usually returned to the same method you used to deposit, where that method supports payouts; otherwise the operator offers an alternative such as a bank transfer. Processing depends on the operator’s checks and the payment provider, so we do not publish payout times.

XI Good to know

Additional requirements

The rules behind the steps above. The binding version is always in the Terms and Conditions.

Account Verification

Each person may hold one account, in their own name. Identity, age and address are verified before the first withdrawal, and the operator can request documents again if details change or a check is required by law.

Deposit Requirements

Deposits are made in CAD from a payment method registered in your own name. Minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the cashier, and your own deposit limit always applies on top of them.

Withdrawal Procedures

Withdrawals need a verified account and usually go back to the deposit method. The operator may hold a request while it completes security or anti-money-laundering checks, and will tell you if anything is needed.

Jackpot Rules

Each jackpot game sets its own qualifying stake, tiers and trigger. Values come from the provider and are shown inside the game; contributions and wins are recorded by the provider’s system, and no win is ever guaranteed.

Responsible Gambling

Limits, cooling-off, self-exclusion and reality checks are available on every account. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, the Responsible Gambling page lists free Canadian support services.

Account Restrictions

Accounts are not available to anyone under 18 or living in Alberta and Ontario. Duplicate accounts, false details or location masking can lead to restriction or closure, and a self-excluded account stays closed for the full period.
